• Searching for butterflies, crabs, bats, and cyphers on my charts.

But nothing worked.

That's when I decided to stop jumping around. Instead, I'd stick to a single strategy and test everything to put it working.

But when your day is over...

Nightmare.

Even worse, as you check your performance at the end of the day, your balance just went down faster than ever...

...while you struggle to take all the trades, waiting for the edge of the strategy to work.

"This is BS. I trade non-stop, everything that I can. How in the world are the others getting results and I'm not!?"

So you buy a second screen, even bigger than the one that you have, to watch more markets at the same time.

You increase your risk to quickly recover from the previous losses.

You take even more trades, one after another, stop placing stop losses.

You go to bed but you can't sleep because you know you have trades running without stop loss.

You wake up the next morning.

This is what it's called the "trade and pray" approach. You trading something and HOPE that it gives you a small profit without blowing your account.

Unfortunately, hope doesn't pay the bills.

And even though you might get lucky once and a while, "hope trading" isn't a reliable strategy to survive in the long term.
